Reset Motorola KRZR
I had an old Motorola KRZR that I wanted to purge all the data from prior to getting rid of it. Of course it was not as easy to figure out as I would have hoped. Eventually I found this solution.
- Goto opcode screen by entering: CLR, 0, 4, 8, 2, 6, 3, * (Note: sequence must be entered very quickly.)
- From the opcode screen enter: 18* and click center radial button on phone.
- Then enter 0 and click on center radial button.
- Wait and it will say success after a short time. Press CLR.
- Enter: 18* and click center radial button on phone.
- Then enter 1 and click on center radial button.
- Wait and it will say success after a short time. Press CLR.
It may or may not reboot after entering commands.
Exit out. Contacts, Pix & Flix, Called #’s, etc should all be deleted…
